Total Basketball
On a gym floor, the whoosh of wheels racing at high speed replaces the squeak of sneakers. Otherwise, it’s just basketball. Well… almost. Total Basketball follows the Quebec City Bulldogs’ Division A team through a season of wheelchair basketball—the only parasport where players with and without disabilities compete side by side. Through the players’ daily lives, practices, losses, and victories, this film reveals an intense and demanding sport, far removed from the clichés of “adapted sports.”
